We collect and store information that includes but is not limited to your name, billing and delivery address, email address, telephone number, IP address and information about your computer.

Use of your personal data allows us to improve our business services and website, offer a personalised service that includes tailoring information, product and content. It enables us to alert and inform you of any administrational, product or service changes. Your personal data is used for marketing purposes and in connection with our legal rights and obligations and for certain additional purposes only with your explicit consent. 

Should you no longer wish for your personal data to be used for marketing purposes please unsubscribe to any of the emails that you have received. Or contact our Customer Care Team if you wish to be removed from the database.

We will provide this information to you within 35 calendar days of the request. There will be a £10 administration fee payable to Thousand Fibres Ltd. 

Thousand Fibres will not sell nor market your personal data to any third parties, or elsewhere. Only where required by law or to enforce our legal rights should you violate our Terms of Service is the information shared. And only then, as is necessary to run our business to fulfil any contracts we enter into with you.

PERSONAL DATA RETENTION & AUTO RECORDING OF DATA 

We do not hold onto your personal data for any longer than is necessary for the purpose for which it is used. We take all appropriate measures to ensure your personal data is kept secure. 

Some general non-personal data is collected when you access thousandfibres.com, such as average time spent on site, the pages viewed etc. This is recorded automatically and used to assist with website function improvement and content. This data is not used any further nor shared with any third parties.

SECURITY POLICY 

We require your credit/ debit card number, billing address and expiry date in order to process an order, together with any additional security details that the credit card processor may need. Thousand Fibres makes use of reputable third-party payment providers and hosting agents to ensure that all data is secure.  All payment details are shared with us via a secure server using Shopify Payments and Stripe using encrypted and digitally-signed protocols. Shopify Payments is certified level 1 PCI DSS complaint.  

CHANGES TO OUR PRIVACY POLICY 

Thousand Fibres reserves the right to change or modify this Privacy Policy at any time. Any changes made will be updated in the above Privacy Policy. We suggest checking back to review any possible updated information.
