The Story Behind the Strands
As a child, comfort-thumbed ruby-red threads wrapped around my wrist. Hand-tied by my mother, they were secret, silken talismans for the moments we were apart - second-skin reminders of our connection.
Not only did they weave between us, those vivid red strands crossed continents and cultures, languages and religions, held tight for centuries as amulets for love, protection, courage and connection.
And so, we reimagined those threads in multicolour. And wove them through love-worn gold.

The Thousand Fibres Story
Thousand Fibres began as a personal tribute - a necklace, designed by Edward Davies, for his wife Jourdana - to honour her late mother, Jax.
The bespoke piece, crafted in solid gold and wrapped in a single ruby-red thread, quickly caught the eye of friends. And as enquiries about her jewellery grew, so too did requests for matching pieces from the people they loved. As the circle of those wearing their pieces expanded beyond those they knew, the couple recognised an opportunity to share the meaningful concept and unique designs with a wider audience - expanding their range whilst infusing each design with the same care and meaning as the original.
Thousand Fibres' commitment to soulful design and emotional connection remains at the core of their brand. Each piece they create carries forward their founding principle: that the most beautiful jewellery tells a story and holds a piece of the heart.
